Soltel will boost the telecommunications services of the Andalusian Regional Government with a new strategic contract.

Soltel, together with Exxita be Circular in a joint venture, has been awarded the contract for the provision of the Specialized Expert Service for Telecommunications of the Junta de Andalucía, a project aimed at strengthening the management, operation and supervision of the telecommunications infrastructures of the regional government.

The contract, signed on February 27, 2026, will provide support for various strategic projects managed by SANDETEL (Andalusian Society for the Development of Telecommunications), the entity responsible for the supervision and management of the Corporate Telecommunications Network of the Andalusian Regional Government.

This service aims to guarantee the continuity, quality, and evolution of connectivity systems that support multiple public services, including corporate networks, critical communications infrastructures and technological projects deployed at the headquarters of the regional administration.

Within this project, the service provided will contribute to strengthening various key aspects of the network, including:

  • Technical supervision of infrastructure and radiating systems
  • Verification of service coverage and quality
  • Certification of telecommunications facilities.
  • Specialized support in field operations.
  • Technical analysis and improvement proposals to ensure operational continuity.

One of the most relevant and innovative aspects of the contract is the technical and operational support for the Digital Emergency Network of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, an essential infrastructure to guarantee the safe and reliable communications of public services in critical situations that allows the coordination of different agencies and intervention bodies —such as health services, security forces or civil protection teams— ensuring that communications remain operational even in high-demand scenarios or emergencies.

A service structured in four main areas of action

  • Project Technical Office. This will be the core of the leadership, management, coordination and control of the service by specialized telecommunications technical personnel, in addition to monitoring performance indicators, preparing technical reports and optimizing the project's operational processes.
  • Field technical support team. This team will ensure a rapid response to incidents and operational needs, guaranteeing the proper functioning of communications infrastructure distributed throughout Andalusia.
  • Installation and cabling services. Specialized installation and cabling services, essential for the deployment and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Logistics services. Logistics management, necessary to ensure the availability and traceability of the equipment and materials used in the various technical operations.

Efficient logistics management is key to optimizing response times and ensuring the availability of technical resources in each intervention.
