The technology firm closes the year having served more than 20,000 users, 40,000 computers and 2,000 monthly incidents
Soltel IT Solutions is increasingly seeking qualified IT professionals. The technology group, led by Julio Pérez, is growing across its six strategic lines: project management, digital strategy, application maintenance and development, workplace solutions, disruptive technologies, and systems administration. To support this growth, Soltel needs skilled employees.
In the Workplace area, Soltel has experienced very significant growth, since, at the end of 2021, Soltel serves more than 20,000 workplaces, both public and private, with some 40,000 computers and an average of 2,000 incident reports per month.
According to the company's CEO, “2021 has been a strategic year for Soltel. We consolidated the business from previous years and opened new avenues for development in the area of value-added services for public administrations and private companies. Our focus has been on preparing for growth in the coming years and orienting the company towards the value-added services sector, following the strategic plan we have set for 2021-2025, which projects 100% organic revenue growth over that period,” explains Julio Pérez. The value-added services strategy consists of developing projects managed by Soltel for its clients, contributing all our experience and with high-quality, cutting-edge jobs.
SKILLED WORKERS
To achieve its goals, Soltel is committed to the training and development of its workforce, which currently numbers around 220 employees, in a flexible work environment where mutual trust and collaboration are key to success. This employee-centric approach, combined with other daily practices, led Soltel to receive the Great Place to Work award in 2020 from the prestigious organization that has been analyzing the work environment of companies worldwide for 30 years. Thanks to this distinction, Soltel is one of the best places to work in Spain.
Growth in its own projects, coupled with requests for specific positions from its clients, means that Soltel will be seeking over one hundred qualified ICT professionals in the coming months. This demand represents approximately one hundred job opportunities for programmers, analysts, software architects, and system administrators across the country who, thanks to flexibility and remote work options, will be able to perform their duties remotely and collaboratively.
Much of this demand stems from Soltel's growth in managing its clients' workstations and user support centers, including the management of Remote Support Centers, Virtual PBXs, Dashboards, and a whole range of proactive tasks that set them apart. In addition to its traditional contracts, Soltel has taken on new projects, such as Microcomputer Support for the Territorial Delegations of the Andalusian Regional Government's Ministry of Tourism, Regeneration, Justice, and Local Administration; Remote Digital Support for Educational Centers under the Ministry of Education and Sport; and Technical Assistance for the Management of BPO Services and Operations for Red.es.
Another area of work in which Soltel has grown this year has been in project management offices, expanding the service to entities such as the Seville City Council, the Ministry of Health and Families and the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior.
OUR PRODUCTS
Regarding applications, Soltel continues its commitment to developing new products and improving existing ones, such as eLEX, Soltel's Legal Case Management software. This software represents a significant leap forward for the company in the specific and differentiated legal sector. Another noteworthy product is SIGA, the comprehensive system for managing Shareholders' Meetings, which has been used for several years by various top-division sports clubs, including Real Betis Balompié, SD Eibar, Deportivo Alavés, and Real Club Celta de Vigo.
Innovation is another pillar of Soltel, which will celebrate its twentieth anniversary in 2022. From the outset, R&D has been a key element of its activity and its commitment to the progress of society. Soltel is a leader in the use of Artificial Intelligence and Data Mining technologies for application in specific areas such as Precision Agriculture, Justice 4.0, Cognitive Administration, the Circular Economy, and Environmental Conservation. Soltel participates in leading European and national consortia, where it is a benchmark.
Finally, another area that has also grown significantly this year is digital administration. Soltel has developed a new division specifically to address Digital Transformation projects within the Public Administration sector, contributing a team of professionals and specialized technical capabilities to meet the challenge of making public administrations more accessible to citizens. This pillar of growth, defined and developed in 2021, has allowed Soltel to provide services to clients such as the Progress and Health Foundation, the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia, the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection, and the Andalusian Institute for Agricultural, Fisheries, Food, and Organic Production Research and Training, among others. These projects complement those already being developed by Soltel in this area, representing a consolidation and a commitment to the future for a growing technology group driven by the enthusiasm of its employees and management team.
