The pilot phase of the project developed by Soltel and Cetil consolidates them as great allies in gas stations.
The technology companies Soltel and Cetil are about to conclude the Eco-Gate pilot project through smart dispensers, for which they have worked in real time with the smart dispensers in gas stations throughout Spain.
According to Francisco Quintero, Director of Operations Solutions AAPP at Soltel, “we began developing the demo phase in 2020 and are currently concluding it with a total of 17 service stations and 10 different operators, which we have been monitoring. We are now in the final phase and can conclude that the number of data sources monitored by the system and the information they provide are extremely useful for decision-making at gas stations.”

Eco Gate's smart dispensers, developed by Soltel and Cetil, allow for the automatic capture of supply and error data, and real-time web-based visualization of the status of different CNG stations and pumps. This system facilitates early alerts, for example, in the event of pumps being out of service or after a certain number of hours without fuel, and also automatically provides, through indicators, information about each service station and its comparison with other stations belonging to the same operator.
Knowing the real-time supply status of each point, whether they are functioning correctly, their billing, and their reserve levels is invaluable information for management. This enables intelligent management and streamlines decision-making and the offers made to users. An optional supply analysis service is also offered to owners to optimally adjust the operating parameters of their stations. These advantages are solidifying the tool's position in the sector nationwide and will soon propel it into a new phase.
