HYQUM

HYQUM: SISTEMA PARA LA DETECCIÓN DE LA CONTAMINACIÓN MICROBIANA EN LA CARNE DE VACUNO/PORCINO, CUERPOS EXTRAÑOS Y CARACTERÍSTICAS DE ALIMENTACIÓN CON TECNOLOGÍA HIPERESPECTRAL.
Project subsidized by the CDTI and supported by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness with aid co-financed by ERDF funds through the “Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020” and CDTI's own funds.
Objective: To develop a non-invasive, real-time detection system for determining the presence of microbiological contamination and/or foreign bodies in beef and pork, as well as inferring the diet of Iberian pigs, using hyperspectral technology. The system analyzes meat samples on the assembly line and integrates the results into the company's information systems (ERP) so that they can be used to support management and production decision-making.
Consortium: EL ENCINAR DE HUMIENTA, MAFRIVISA, AMBLING, SOLTEL IT SOLUTIONS, SOLTEL IT SYSTEMS.
Research organizations: Extremadura Agri-food Technology Centre (CTAEX), Faico, Electronic Technology and Industrial Computing Research Group (TIC-150) of the University of Seville through the PRODTI Foundation.

The project is financed by the CDTI and supported by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, with a grant from FEDER funds through the “Operative Program for Intelligent Growth 2014-2020”, and from CDTI’s equity.

Objective: Development of a non-invasive, real time detection system to determine the presence of microbial contamination and/or foreign bodies in beef and pig meat and also to infer the diet of Iberian pigs, by means of hyperspectral technology. The system analyses the pieces of meat at the process line and includes the results in the plant’s information system (ERP) so it can help in production and management decision making.

Consortium: EL ENCINAR DE HUMIENTA, MAFRIVISA, AMBLING, SOLTEL IT SOLUTIONS, SOLTEL IT SYSTEMS.

Research bodies: Technological Centre of Food and Agriculture Extremadura (CTAEX), Faico, Research Group on Electronic Technology and Industrial Informatics, (TIC-150) from the University of Seville, through Foundation PRODTI.
