Soltel, in collaboration with Turiscool, has been awarded the Digital skills training service for tourism in Castilla y León, an initiative driven by the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Regional Government of Castile and León with the aim of promoting the digital transformation of the community's tourism sector.
Within the framework of this project, both entities will be responsible for the development of Block IV, this training module is specifically aimed at tourism destination managers, tourism office staff, and tourism product managers. three itineraries —basic, intermediate and advanced— and will allow training more than 100 professionals of the sector.
The program is designed to equip participants with key digital skills for the current tourist environment, such as the use of Artificial intelligenceData analysis tools (including Excel) and fundamentals of cybersecurityalways from a practical approach and applied to professional reality.
The training will be delivered online, facilitating work-life balance and access from different parts of the territory, and will include content specifically designed for the tourism sector. Furthermore, the program includes the certificate of attendance and the delivery of digital devices to those who complete the training, with a planned completion date of May 30.
The initiative is aimed at both employed professionals and unemployed people linked to the tourism sector of Castilla y León, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises and profiles interested in strengthening their digital skills in this field.
With this award, Soltel and Turiscool consolidate their commitment to the training, innovation and the development of a more competitive tourism sector, adapted to the challenges and opportunities posed by digitalization.
