Soltel is growing every week and needs to increase its workforce to meet its commitments to clients. New projects have pushed the company's payroll past 350 employees, prompting the regional government to invite the technology firm to a meeting to learn about the real needs of the labor market. The aim is to better align vocational training with the needs of businesses and help young people completing vocational degrees find employment.

The Provincial Employment Delegation has convened a meeting with the main technology companies in the province, including Soltel and one of its Human Resources managers.

The meeting began with the provincial delegate for Employment, Business and Self-Employment, Antonio Augustín Vázquez, who welcomed the company representatives and thanked them for their time and participation in discussing the reality of the working world in technology firms in the province of Seville.

Good programmers

Following the opening remarks, the technical meeting commenced, highlighting the most pressing need among technology companies: skilled programmers. Government representatives expressed interest in the responsibilities of these professionals and others in similar roles where shortages exist, as well as the specific training required.

Soltel has given this meeting a very positive assessment, considering that the more adapted the training is to what is really needed in companies, the better prepared the young people who come to Soltel will be to start their professional career, something that will boost employment, allow for the successful fulfillment of contracts committed to clients, and benefit all parties.
