Upon completion of the training period, internships in companies begin.
Soltel has been one of the companies that, together with PCT Cartuja, Fundación ONCE and Inserta Empleo, has participated in the Java Full Stack Developer course, within the second phase of the pilot plan that they are developing to promote the labor inclusion of people with disabilities in the field of new technologies.
This initiative is part of a programming training program in various technologies, framed within the ONCE Foundation's 'Digital Talent' program, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund and supported by companies located in the Cartuja Science and Technology Park (PCT Cartuja), such as Soltel IT Solutions, and which operates under the agreement that the ONCE Foundation has signed with the Park. The participating students who have successfully completed the course are now beginning their three-month non-work placement.

Soltel was present at the graduation ceremony for the course, which was completed by 10 people with disabilities. The course consisted of 725 hours of instruction divided into the following modules: development methodologies; basic Java; databases: SQL; Java EE and its frameworks; and Front-end and Restoration. The ceremony included presentations of the students' final projects, which were very well received by the participating companies. Afterwards, there was a networking session where the companies could meet the students directly and exchange information, interests, and future expectations.
With a strong practical focus on facilitating the students' future employment, the training content is closely linked to the park's actual needs and has been defined by a technical committee comprised of representatives from the ONCE Foundation, Inserta Empleo, and companies within the park such as NNT Data, Soltel, Accenture, Appian, Cenit, Euigs-Admiral Group, Isotrol, Viewnext, and Business Go. This initiative reaffirms the commitment of the Cartuja Science and Technology Park (PCT Cartuja) and its resident companies to a digital transformation model that is compatible with sustainable and inclusive criteria.
