The SOLTEL Chair of AI and Public Law debuts in Madrid before representatives of the main Public Administrations, consolidating the Group's commitment to ethical and efficient digitalization.
Yesterday, March 5th, the headquarters of Red.es Madrid was the setting for the first official event of the SOLTEL Chair of AI and Public Law. Under the title “Law, Artificial Intelligence and legal advice for the Autonomous Communities”, The day achieved a full institutional session by bringing together a very broad representation of lawyers from SEPE, the Tax Agency, and the General Counsel's Offices from almost all of the Autonomous Communities, together with experts from the University of Seville and the University of Granada.
A bridge between the University and Public Management
For the SOLTEL Group, this meeting reinforces the role of our Chair as a driving force for knowledge transfer, bridging the gap between cutting-edge academic research and the operational needs of the Administration. During the event, critical challenges were addressed, such as liability for damages in automated environments, digital rights, and the necessary human oversight of algorithmic decisions.
Alejandro Caraballo, Director of Business Solutions at Soltel Group and member of the Chair's Governing CommitteeHe highlighted the importance of this milestone for the company's strategy:
The great challenge for public administration today is not only adopting AI, but doing so while guaranteeing legal certainty in environments with a critical volume of cases. At the Chair's Steering Committee, we are working to ensure that tools like ELEX are not only efficient and fast, but also scrupulously comply with the principles of transparency and human oversight required by the public sector.
ELEX: The technical solution to large volumes
During the event, it was presented to ELEX as the practical embodiment of this philosophy. In a context of high administrative burden, our advanced legal manager proved to be the key tool for handling large volumes of files with complete traceability.
Thanks to its architecture aligned with the ENS (High Category)ELEX acts as an "administrative co-pilot" that reduces the operational burden on lawyers without diluting the guarantee framework of the administrative procedure.
Leadership in Digital Transformation
With this event, SOLTEL reaffirms its position as a strategic partner for public administrations. We not only provide robust technology, but we also lead the debate on how that technology should be implemented to fully serve citizens and institutions.
We thank all the speakers, attendees, and partners such as onTech Innovation for making this debut a resounding success. This is just the beginning of a journey where innovation and law go hand in hand.
