Those selected work on projects for training purposes and upon completion of their qualification, they will begin their professional career, at which point they will start participating in SOLTEL projects.
SOLTEL has fifteen students from vocational training programs at schools in the province of Seville who are currently completing their work placements at the company. This is a standard procedure, carried out annually, with a dual purpose: to offer a job opportunity to those starting out and to provide them with hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of the business group. The selected students work on projects for educational purposes, and upon completion of their training, they will begin their professional careers, at which point they will start participating in SOLTEL's projects.
While acquiring skills and knowledge, students will learn about the realities of working in different departments, understanding their operations through hands-on experience in application development, multimedia, cross-platform development, and web development. They will spend three months completing their internships and, depending on their performance, will have the opportunity to pursue a professional career at SOLTEL, as has happened in previous years with students who have ultimately joined the staff.
Having fresh talent and a pool of the best-prepared students possible is one of SOLTEL's objectives. To achieve this, the company invests in training and equipping students to meet the group's core requirements. To this end, several meetings have been held throughout the year with heads of studies and administrators from the various educational institutions with which SOLTEL has agreements. SOLTEL has also given presentations at the schools, explaining to the students the specific characteristics of the jobs they will be performing.
Looking after employees, and especially younger ones, is fundamental for SOLTEL, which in 2020 received the Great Place To Work recognition from the prestigious GPTW organization, which has been analyzing the working life of companies around the world for 30 years.
