PLAnd DROUGHT Andalusia: Soltel's initiative for water preservation

Drought is an environmental challenge affecting many regions worldwide, and Andalusia is no exception. In response to this situation, Soltel launched the project DROUGHT PLAnd Andalusia, a website and specific tool that was created with the aim of raising awareness among the population about this issue and promoting actions for its mitigation.

 

What is PLAnd DROUGHT Andalusia?

In their concern for environmental sustainability, Soltel She has been participating for several months in a collaborative project that seeks to raising public awareness and to combine synergies that offer solutions to the lack of water that the community suffers.

Taking into account the requirements established by the Ministry of University, Research and Innovation, it is born DROUGHT PLAnd Andalusia, a This tool will provide detailed and up-to-date information on the drought in the region.; also being able to offer practical advice for the responsible use of water.

This platform will provide a connection point where individuals or legal entities can contribute innovative initiatives to combat droughtFor its part, the Administration, through the digital environment, will have the task of interrelating them to try to ensure that they come to fruition.

The project has a execution period of one year and it has already completed its first stage, which consisted of developing its web environment. Currently, this project is in the evolutionary maintenance phase of the information system.

This innovative technological tool allows for the collection and analysis of real-time data to efficiently monitor and manage these valuable ecosystems, promoting the conservation and sustainable use of wetlands, as well as the protection of their biodiversity and the environmental services they provide.

Undoubtedly, with projects like the ones mentioned above, Soltel continues its work to to raise awareness among the population about the importance of promoting environmentally sustainable practices.
