Project objective

OPR is a smart field guide in the form of a mobile application that combines context and location information with image processing to help identify plant species, both in urban parks and in natural spaces.

The intelligent system is based on image recognition, fuzzy logic, and Bayesian statistics with the aim of helping people without specific botanical knowledge to identify plant species in urban parks or natural spaces.
