Soltel collaborates with the Seville City Council to improve online services for citizens

The Local Governing Board of the city of Seville has approved its first major contract within the new strategy for digitization and modernization of the municipal administration. Said contract, which it has been granted to us along with Emergya has been awarded a contract for an amount of 1.4 million euroswhich will be allocated to the so-called technical office, that is to say, operational management servicesincluding support to the entities and the technical management of the project, covering requirements whose areas of action range from field work, such as site layout, construction supervision, or the acceptance of facilities, to those in the cabinet such as budget control, document management, or report preparation.

This fact implies a new model of the Hispalnet Metropolitan Telecommunications Network for the Seville City Council, its autonomous bodies and municipal companies, in such a way that a new corporate network that will unify all telecommunications services and that will be able to multiply by ten the current speed of your internal network, guaranteeing greater coverage and better quality in internal management and citizen services, in addition to generating synergies and greater efficiency in managing public resources.

This will allow a improved functioning of the administration and will have a direct impact on the citizen through streamlining online procedures, as well as improving customer service.
