Soltel participated in the 1st Edition of the Spanish Urban Forum, held in Seville

The 1st Spanish Urban Forum and 3rd Global Forum of Local Governments kicked off in Seville on October 5th and ran until the 6th at the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre. Soltel IT Solutions was one of the companies participating in the event, leveraging its extensive experience of nearly two decades developing tools to facilitate city management and governance, thereby helping them become more sustainable.

During the inauguration ceremony, the attending authorities were able to view, in the central exhibition, the work that Soltel has been developing to offer solutions that contribute to facilitating the management of Smart Cities. The Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, the President of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Juan Manuel Moreno, the Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, and the Mayor of Seville, Juan Espadas, were able to see Soltel's tools for improving governance.

Since its founding in 2002, Soltel has been working on the design, manufacture, and marketing of products that help facilitate city governance. Currently, the company's main project involves managing the Technical Office for Smart Cities in Andalusia, a project promoted by the Regional Government of Andalusia, for which the joint venture formed by Soltel and Indra was awarded the contract. This ambitious and attractive project will soon be operational in several Andalusian municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants.

Another of Soltel's most in-demand products today is eLex, a comprehensive legal case management system that allows public entities and legal aid firms to perform their functions in a much more optimized way.

In addition to the above, Soltel offers other tools designed and marketed with various applications: Siga, for managing sports clubs and associations; Demokratio, which facilitates citizen engagement in political life through new technologies; Solkar, which allows police officers to access municipal databases to identify a vehicle or its owner and validate a penalty notice by including graphic information; and Social Parking, which provides information on parking locations to manage parking easily and conveniently, streamlining traffic and saving drivers from unnecessary trips.

These are small changes that are sometimes overlooked but can significantly streamline management by leveraging the latest technological advancements.
