Soltel, a Spanish company specializing in technological solutions for various sectors of the public and private sphere, He recently obtained the ENS certificate (National Security Scheme), granted by the National Cryptographic Center (CCN).
This announcement represents further recognition of the good work of Soltel for its various projects in public bodies, of which we have a long track record, and places it as one of the few companies in the country to comply with the safety standards established by the Government.
What is the National Security Scheme?
The ENS It is a set of standards that provides a common framework of basic principles, requirements, and security measures for the adequate protection of information processed and services provided to the Public Sector, as well as to suppliers collaborating with the Administration. Its latest update can be found in the Royal Decree 311/2022.
The importance of this accreditation lies in its principles, which are none other than ensuring access, confidentiality, integrity, traceability, authenticity, availability and preservation of data, information and services used by electronic means that they manage in the exercise of their powers. Therefore, it is a seal of great importance for SoltelThis demonstrates its ability to protect the information it handles in each of its projects and clients in the public sector.

The legal framework of the ENS
Soltel has extensive experience in developing technological solutions, especially for public sector organizations. Therefore, this accreditation recognizes the comprehensive security measures we implement in our projects and demonstrates our compliance with current regulations under the National Security Framework.
- Law 11/2007 June 22nd, on electronic access by citizens to Public Services, where the National Security Scheme was born.
- Royal Decree 3/2010 January 8th. It approves the National Security Scheme (ENS) and establishes the security policy for the use of electronic means. This Royal Decree sets out the basic principles and minimum requirements that allow for adequate information protection.
- Law 40/2015, of October 1, which is included in the ENS in its article 156 section 2.
- Royal Decree 951/2015, of October 23, which includes the European Union regulatory environment for information technologies and the experience of implementing the Scheme.
