The III edition of the Innovation and New technologies fair celebrated in Seville Province Council on November 16th, 17th and 18th brought important news. One of them was to reward the deployment of electronic Administration in the province of Seville with the “Digital Council Award”, and another one was the recognition to the effort of the company that has developed new techniques and tools to ease electronic government along this year 2016, or e-Government award in the province.

This recognition to the company that has eased electronic government was for Grupo Soltel, in appreciation of its effort and investment and for providing this innovation technological value with R&D&I projects. In this line, Soltel has developed many citizen participation projects, mobile developments and technologies engaged with the transformation of digital cities linked to the concept of “Smart City“.

Moreover, Soltel was positively evaluated for its engagement with quality in software development following ISO standards and for the deployment of a software testing lab, among others. Julio Pérez, its director and founding member, received the prize, sharing the recognition with all his team.

Fernando Rodríguez Villalobos, president of the Seville Province Council, granted the prizes convinced that this means a push and a motivation to keep on working on the digitalization of the Administration and of Seville.

This last prize comes to be the sixth award received by Soltel in the last years:
