Soltel manages the appointment system, shifts and queues at the Parque del Aljarafe offices

It promotes ICT in eight municipalities led by Bormujos and Camas, within the Edusi strategy with FEDER funds

Soltel is designing a cloud-based, comprehensive appointment, queue, and reservation management system. This platform, supported by an app, will manage access to the Aljarafe Natural Park. The project will streamline administrative processes across the eight municipalities involved: those in the Camas functional area (comprising Camas, Castilleja de Guzmán, Santiponce, and Valencina de la Concepción) and those in the Bormujos functional area (comprising Bormujos, Castilleja de la Cuesta, Espartinas, and Gines).

Soltel's objective is to make it easier for citizens to carry out procedures with their local councils by providing them with a new appointment system accessible through the municipal website, electronic office, or via their mobile phone. This solution, using ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) tools, will equip municipalities with resources that facilitate the management of municipal services, eliminating queues and overcrowding, thus reducing in-person activity and minimizing waiting times for citizens. Users will also be provided with information on the conditions under which services are offered, avoiding unnecessary travel and waiting times.

20 months of execution

The contract, managed by the Provincial Council of Seville, has a budget of €101,190.00, including VAT, and a total execution period of 20 months from the date of signing. It includes the supply of an accessible appointment booking app for download by the public on iOS and Google Play platforms, along with the supply, installation, configuration, and commissioning of at least: 12 accessible ticket dispensing kiosks or totems for self-service areas, a dozen high-performance information screens for the waiting area, and 24 signage devices for the service desks.

Soltel is working on this project with particular enthusiasm, as it is deeply connected to the citizen, who is its central focus and aligns with the company's raison d'être—the reasons why the technology firm was founded. This challenge views ICTs as strategies for integrated urban development through initiatives in local e-government and Smart Cities, fostering what is known as connected citizenship. The ultimate goal is to bring government closer to the citizen through technology.
