The Pablo de Olavide University (UPO) has awarded to Soltel the contract for the supply of servers intended for your virtualization environmentThis project follows social responsibility criteria, its main objective being optimize the technological infrastructure of your university system.

Contract objective

The objective of this contract is the Technological hardware upgrade which supports the UPO virtualization environment. Through the acquisition of five state-of-the-art servers, the aim is to ensure compatibility with current virtualization software, allowing its update to newer and more secure versions.

On the other hand, this new supply aims to facilitate the management, monitoring and automation of processes related to the virtualization clusterimproving the efficiency and security of the systems, since some of the servers they have do not support the latest software versions, such as VMware ESXiwhich limits access to security and performance improvements.

In short, with Soltel's operation, the Pablo de Olavide University will have important updates that will allow for more robust operation in the university environment, reducing the risks associated with obsolete systems.

In compliance with the objectives set by the UPO, Soltel IT Solutions will be responsible for supplying the servers, meeting the technical requirements indicated in the technical specifications document.
