Award for the best business trajectory in Andalusia 2013

Soltel was officially established thanks to the €3,000 value of two Pentium II computers and a motorcycle. This was the only asset of Julio Pérez, its president, who had no money to invest, but plenty of enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. In his case, in the technology sector.

Ten years have now passed since that adventure began. The Soltel Group now has 150 professionals, offices in Badajoz and Madrid, as well as its headquarters in the PISA Industrial Park in Mairena del Aljarafe, and has recently established a presence in Mexico City, marking the start of its international expansion. Even so, it had already developed projects in Chile, the USA, Mexico, Portugal, and the United Arab Emirates. The financial results are also promising, with the company achieving a turnover of five million euros in 2012.

This progress has led to her being recognized by the Andalusian Association of Young Entrepreneurs with the Award for Best Business Trajectory. "We are very proud. It's a boost for our project, for our 150 employees, and for our products," Pérez explained after receiving the award.

This business trajectory is coupled with a social commitment that has led him to collaborate with Manos Unidas in the manufacture of drinking water channels for the most disadvantaged villages in Bolivia, or in dispensaries for ambulances in India; or to participate, hand in hand with the International Cooperation Office, in the construction of drinking water wells in Malawi.

The opportunity for training is also present at Soltel, as they have been offering the SAP Master's program for three years.
