Project subsidized by the CDTI and supported by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness with aid co-financed by ERDF funds through the “Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020” and CDTI's own funds.
Objective: To develop a non-invasive, real-time detection system for determining the presence of microbiological contamination and/or foreign bodies in beef and pork, as well as inferring the diet of Iberian pigs, using hyperspectral technology. The system analyzes meat samples on the assembly line and integrates the results into the company's information systems (ERP) so that they can be used to support management and production decision-making.
