Soltel participated in this meeting focusing on "Smart Cities," and did so by presenting a parking search and management application based on "Citizen as Sensor" technology. In his presentation, Soltel It highlights some of its benefits when using it, such as saving energy and time, providing more safety and less pollution.
The main objective of this event, of paramount importance to the digital world and to Seville, was to launch a series of initiatives across various programs to universalize e-government in the province and bring it closer to new technologies and information systems, thereby improving local public administration. Better local management would result in improved public services, increasing their efficiency and enhancing the quality of life for Seville residents, for example, by making it easier to complete procedures at the different town halls.
This fair opened a door to the most futuristic projects being developed within the region. Technologies such as Cybersecurity, «Smart city" or Smart city and electronic administration were the main pillars of this meeting, where robotics and virtual reality also played an important role, the latter being very important for the tourism sector."
It should be noted, and so it was done Susana Díaz tn the media, the "Smart City" initiative is enabling some municipalities in the province of Seville to be pioneers and examples in the use of this new technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public services, also doing so in a sustainable way.
