On January 15th, at the CETIL DISPENSING TECHNOLOGY facilities, two of the innovations to be implemented in the CNG stations being built within the project were presented. ECO-GATEThe presentation was given by CETIL and SOLTEL, technology partners of the consortium, with the assistance of staff from different areas, such as Operations, IT and Engineering, from the companies DOUROGAS, MELOFE, MOLGAS and REPSOL.

The presentation showcased the potential of both innovations:

• The first, SMART DISPENSERDeveloped by CETIL and SOLTEL, the system enables the automatic capture of supply and error data, and real-time web-based visualization of the status of different CNG stations and dispensers. This facilitates early warnings, for example, of dispensers being out of service or after a certain number of hours without supply. It also allows for the automatic generation of indicators and their comparison between different stations belonging to the same operator. Furthermore, it offers an optional supply analysis service to optimally adjust the operating parameters of the stations.
• The second, LNG UNLOADING VERIFICATIONDeveloped by CETIL, this tool allows for verifying the accuracy of measurements from LNG meters installed on trucks transporting LNG to service stations, enabling the definition of best practices for unloading at service stations. To achieve this, a cryogenic standard with international traceability has been constructed, guaranteeing a common reference point for comparison.

Currently, the equipment has already been installed SMART DISPENSER for data collection at multiple stations of the participating operators and is being installed at new locations at an appropriate pace. Access to all information, such as dashboards and indicators, is already available on a private cloud that SOLTEL has designed specifically for this purpose. ECO-GATEOn the other hand, work continues on the implementation and fine-tuning of LNG UNLOADING VERIFICATION at various stations.
