COITTA-AAGIT recognizes the Andalucía Agrotech Digital Innovation Hub project, with public, private and civil society partners.
The Official College of Telecommunications Technical Engineers of Andalusia (COITTA) and the Andalusian Association of Graduates and Technical Engineers of Telecommunications of Andalusia (AAGIT) have just presented the Ingenio 2021 awards. One of the awards has gone to the Andalucía Agrotech Digital Innovation Hub initiative, which has been recognized as the Best Associative Project 2021.
Soltel has been part of this Hub since last June, joining this exciting project with the aim of boosting the development of new initiatives in the agritech sector. The Andalucía Agrotech Digital Innovation Hub is the largest regional ecosystem in Europe for accelerating, supporting, and channeling innovation in the agri-food sector. It is a leading public-private initiative in the field of agritech, promoted by the Regional Government of Andalusia to accelerate the implementation of digitalization in the agri-food value chain. It comprises more than 140 partners from various sectors, including public administration, businesses, associations, and civil society. This example of public-private integration has recently received recognition.
The award was accepted by Ana María Corredera, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Andalusian Regional Government at the Telecos Andalucía2021 Forum, a leading event for the Andalusian telecommunications sector, which brought together technology professionals from all over Spain last Friday at the Gran Hotel Miramar in Malaga.
Soltel joined the strategic alliance to increase the visibility of its work in Precision Agriculture and to generate synergies with companies and institutions to promote the digitalization of the agri-food sector, developing innovative, high-value-added services and products. Therefore, the technology group expresses its satisfaction with this recognition, which represents a boost for all members of the Andalusian Hub.
