Soltel manages more than 300 projects in public administrations throughout Spain, totaling around 120 million euros.

More than 50 project coordinators ensure that the service matches what was designed for the client.

For over five years, Soltel has been developing a line of project management services for public administrations throughout Spain. This service involves designing a range of project management solutions tailored to the needs and requests of its clients. Once the project and its execution plan are defined, a project manager and dedicated team are assigned to ensure the project achieves the established goals.
In total figures, Soltel currently manages more than 300 projects in public administrations throughout Spain, a line of business that adds up to around 120 million euros in revenue and has more than fifty coordinators who supervise the strategy and execution of the different initiatives and are certified in project management, agility, testing, devops and other standards recognized in the market.

Some of these management office projects span various sectors, such as software development, telecommunications project management, and user support center project management. These lines of work are specifically designed for clients like the Regional Government of Andalusia, the Seville City Council, SANDETEL, and Red.es, among others.

Dynamism
Project Management Offices also have a very dynamic way of working, since they carry out tasks for the management of scope, planning, costs, quality, risks and the coordination of all stakeholders in the different projects, while representing the Project Management in operational meetings and the day-to-day coordination.
To carry out all this activity, Soltel uses a PMO tool, a dashboard that coordinates this enormous undertaking, analyzes the methodologies that aid in project management, and aligns the working methods of the different teams. This allows them to share the knowledge and experience that the technology company acquires through the execution of each project—known as know-how—as well as manage the different teams and promote the development of capabilities through internal training and workshops.
One of the cornerstones of the projects is a commitment to quality and the stability of the teams, as they are the true cornerstone and key to success. Soltel believes that staff stability is what truly allows for the development of their capabilities, leveraging their technical, functional, and organizational knowledge of clients. Furthermore, it capitalizes on their expertise in public sector ICT regulations and cloud technology, which facilitates a faster and easier digital transformation for clients.
Another key aspect of project offices is that they foster synergies between themselves and other areas of the company to increase the business value that Soltel offers its clients. Therefore, it is common for the PMO Department to collaborate with the Data Department on the generation and development of reports. Supported by dashboards, these reports provide a comprehensive view of services, with indicators that show their evolution and also evaluate service quality and the final value received by clients in their projects.
This collaboration is very close in the offices that manage the financial aspects of the projects, providing highly useful data for monitoring billing, tracking consumption trends, forecasting annual payments, and ensuring controlled project management. These collaborations extend to other departments within the company, such as the Digital Transformation Department, which provides cloud services and application service orientation; the Development Department, which guides projects from an architectural perspective and utilizes modern software development solutions; and the R&D Department, which provides access to disruptive technologies so that our clients can benefit from this knowledge.
