It showcases the technology developed to predict the maturity stage of greenhouse tomatoes.

Soltel is participating today in Transfiere 2023, a key professional and multi-sector forum for knowledge transfer, improved competitiveness, and the generation of business and networking opportunities, being held in Málaga. Within this framework, Soltel is showcasing one of its R&D initiatives in the field of agriculture, Scapi. This tool predicts the maturity stage of greenhouse tomatoes to increase crop yields. The results it provides help farmers decide when to harvest or take any necessary precautions.
Scapi is a project funded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism through the AEI 2021b call for proposals and is part of a strategy to leverage technology to optimize crops. This will improve farmers' quality of life and their profitability, the latter being a key factor for the survival of many small and medium-sized agricultural businesses.
