Este proyecto forma parte integral del ambicioso programa LINARES + DIGITAL, en el contexto del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia financiado por la Unión Europea, a través del mecanismo NEXTGENERATIONEU.
Impulsando la Transformación Tecnológica
Con este contrato concedido a Soltel Group, el Ayuntamiento de Linares busca renovarse transformando digitalmente sus administraciones para mejorar la atención ciudadana y adaptarse a nuevas necesidades. Además, el proyecto permitirá la virtualización de servidores municipales, mejorando seguridad, gestión, eficiencia y escalabilidad.
Conforme a lo anterior, la implantación de un sistema avanzado de virtualización basado en hiperconvergencia resulta crucial para construir la administración del futuro pues, actualmente, los servidores físicos presentan problemas de rendimiento y capacidad, y la falta de unidad de virtualización dificulta su mantenimiento y respaldo.
Nutanix is the chosen platform
Among the requirements for the virtualization platform that the Linares City Council was looking for were the following:
- Hyperconverged Infrastructure: Combination of computing, storage and networking in a single physical device.
- SDDC Model (Software Defined Data Center): Provides scalability, simplicity in management, and flexibility in the use of workloads.
- Compatibility: The platform must be compatible with current and future servers based on Microsoft Windows and Linux.
- Licenses: Including associated licenses to meet the licensing requirements of the manufacturers involved.
- Backup Solution: Disk with data immutability, software and hardware compatible with hyperconverged infrastructure.
- Network Infrastructure: It will provide connectivity to the entire system.
In response to all these requirements, the platform Nutanix it will be the chosen one, allowing the management of the cloud, applications, security and data as if it were a single entity on a single platform, and improving management through integration with industry-leading technologies.
The objective of the contract
In short, the contract involves the acquisition and implementation of the virtualization platform that meets detailed requirements, from hyperconverged infrastructure to the solution of backup and the network infrastructure. Furthermore, our company will handle the installation, configuration, integration, and deployment of all these solutions, as well as the migration of existing servers and data.
Garantía y Plan de Formación
Como no podía ser otra manera, el contrato, que incluye garantía para la solución ofertada, abarcando configuración, cambios, migraciones, consolidaciones, incidencias, consultas y actualizaciones, establece la necesidad de un plan de formación que llevaremos a cabo, dirigido al personal técnico responsable del despliegue y administración de la solución.
