The ADA's PytoTH assistant becomes a finalist for the VOCENTO-CIONET 2024 awards

Last November 19 We attended the fourth edition of the Vocento-CIONET awards in Madrid, an event that brings together technology leaders and their teams to highlight the best digital transformation projects in Spain.

 

About the CIONET-VOCENTO awards.

For the fourth year in a row, CIONET, the global community of digital leaders, and Vocento They awarded innovative technological transformation projects under the motto "Digital Projects and Leaders". This edition included 140 projects participated in this., of which PythonTH, a project developed by the Andalusian Digital Agency, She was selected as a finalist.

The event, inaugurated by Iñaki Arechabaleta, attached to the CEO of Vocento, maintained an excellent welcome It took place at the organization's headquarters in Madrid, where the performance of the companies and the people who make them up during the year was recognized.

The jury was composed of 27 renowned professionals from the technology community, who evaluated each proposal, recognizing those with a differential impact on the digitization and technological development of the country.

The PytoTH project consists of a Guide to practical Python programming that facilitates direct access to existing datasets in the Scientific Data Repository of IFAPA, with which data can be efficiently loaded, manipulated, and analyzed. In addition, PytoTH includes a theoretical advisor that recommends statistical and machine learning techniques according to the specific objectives of each research project.

Regarding its operation, PytoTH, finalist for the Best Artificial Intelligence Project awardIt works in the following way:

  • Through a graphical interface, the user accesses the repository and loads a dataset from those available in their project.
  • The user enters a query or instruction in natural language.
  • Thanks to a language model specifically tuned for the researchers' analytical tasks, the intention behind the query is interpreted.
  • The application of Graph-RAG techniques retrieves relevant and contextually appropriate information.
  • The wizard translates the query into precise Python code, using appropriate libraries and packages, and running the code in a secure environment.
  • It provides the results to the user, whether they are analyses, data manipulations, or graphical visualizations.

In addition, it generates advanced graphics and visualizations according to the user's needs and performs the necessary transformations on the dataframe data and returns the code used to promote learning.
