Soltel is participating in GO Agrhound, “Intelligent Robotics for Agronomic Monitoring and Decision-Making in High-Value Crops,” an innovation project developed within the framework of the Supra-Regional Operational Groups. The initiative aims to develop and validate a technological solution for monitoring and making agronomic decisions in high-value crops, such as vineyards and berries.
The project focuses on integrating advanced sensors, machine vision, autonomous guidance, and cloud-based data processing to improve the efficiency and sustainability of farms. GO Agrhound will be developed in open-air vineyards and blackberry orchards under macro-tunnels, allowing researchers to test the solution's performance in very different production environments and validate its robustness, accuracy, and scalability.
With the execution of the project, the consortium aims to generate economic, environmental and social impact through cost reduction, less use of inputs, fewer emissions and the creation of skilled employment in rural areas.
This initiative, which began on June 1, 2026, and will last for 34 months, is being developed within the framework of the aid for the implementation of innovation projects of general interest by Operational Groups of the AEI-Agri. It is financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), within the framework of the Spanish CAP Strategic Plan (PEPAC) 2023-2027.
