SERVICECHAIN

The objective of the SERVICECHAIN ​​project is to conduct industrial research in Blockchain technology to solve the challenges of Spanish companies in managing identity, reliability and traceability of transactions of goods and services in the face of digital transformation requirements and existing regulations.

The project was born with the objective of creating Blockchain technology geared towards business use, enabling both the consortium's member companies and their clients to adopt Blockchain technology in their business environments. The main cross-cutting areas of application The projects the consortium has worked on are:

  • Digital identityProper management of this information will allow users and companies to manage their personal data. Companies will be able to interoperate to automate access to and use of this information.
  • Traceability of digital assetsIt will allow business consortia and value chains to exchange information on components and products throughout the entire value chain, guaranteeing data sovereignty.
  • Digitization of Relationships (Smart Contracts): This will allow for the automation of relationships with third parties and actions on the blockchain without requiring human intervention. Furthermore, due to national and international regulations, the project must comply with regulatory requirements such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which takes into account, among other aspects, the right to be forgotten.
