SCOUT

The SCOUT project has developed an innovative technological solution based on IoT, AI and Big Data which allows for the simple, economical, non-invasive, and real-time measurement of the most relevant parameters that influence the quality of table olives, with the The objective is to assist farmers in making decisions regarding cultivation and thus obtain a higher quality of production. And ultimately, greater profitability for olive groves. It will also allow olive processors to improve processing and product quality, optimizing resource use.

In this solution, after collecting information from multispectral IoT sensors (spectral signatures of the olive), an Artificial Intelligence model takes over Analyze and classify the data to obtain variables of interest such as the maturity of the olive, to determine the optimal harvest time.
