SCAPI

The SCAPI project has developed an advanced sensor system capable of monitoring the evolution and quality of crops in a non-invasive, large-scale, continuous manner, and with precision at the individual plant level.

Designed for greenhouses, this system optimizes return on investment by allowing the optimal fruit ripening time to be determined and production to be estimated with high reliability.

The solution combines two key technologies: a hyperspectral camera that captures detailed images of the fruit and a set of climate sensors that measure temperature, humidity and radiation.

In addition, it incorporates a mobile platform that moves along an aerial track, which makes it possible to collect data in different areas of the crop without interrupting its development.

Its software with artificial intelligence algorithms processes the collected information and offers a real-time visual interface, allowing users to check online the current status of each plant and the entire crop.
