APPQALIT

The project has carried out the design and construction of a pilot system, based on new digital technologies, for the determination of agronomic parameters of the processing tomato using an easy-to-use image capture app for mobile devices with integration into existing resource planning systems (ERPs).

The APPQALIT system developed allows the calculation of the state of ripeness and estimated production based on the analysis of images performed on photographs taken by the user from a mobile application and incorporates intelligent algorithms based on AI/Deep Learning that allow the automatic interpretation of them.

The system therefore allows for the improvement of the profitability of the farm by optimizing the processing of information, as well as increasing the farmer's technological knowledge, promoting their adaptation to the technological era, turning them into a farmer 4.0.
