Thanks to Soltel's experience in storage solutions, we are proud to announce that we have been awarded the public tender from the Public Business Agency of Radio and Television of Andalusia (RTVA) for the lease of a Data Storage Information System for a period of 6 years.

The solution is based on a high availability storage system, with a capacity exceeding 100 TB without compression, AFA (All Flash Array) technology, SAN network electronics and tape library, all as a "turnkey" service.

For the efficient development of its activity, RTVA needs to be equipped with technology that allows them to provide a quality, accessible and easy-to-manage service, while also being flexible enough to allow them to continue growing while minimizing associated costs.

Thanks to the excellent relationship that Soltel maintains with many top-level manufacturers, such as NetApp in this case, it has been possible to design the optimal solution in terms of functionality, at the most competitive price. 

Furthermore, a novel aspect of this contract has been the leasing model under which it has been published, and where Soltel has managed to fit the associated costs in the most beneficial way for RTVA. An increasing number of clients wish to convert CAPEX (Capex - Capital Expenditure) into cash.apital expenditure) in OPEX (Expense – Operational expenditure) through mechanisms such as leasing, and Soltel has shown that we are fully prepared both for new economic models and for the technological challenges that customers need to solve.
