Recently, Soltel<\/a> has been awarded by the Governing Board of the Seville City Council for to offer the important service of supporting regulatory compliance in the area of \u200b\u200bdata protection<\/strong>. This new project will guarantee compliance with current data protection regulations, specifically the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)<\/a>, and the Organic Law 3\/2018<\/a>, of Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights.<\/p>\n

Contract objectives<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The main objective of this contract is to ensure that the Seville City Council not only achieve, but also maintain, the adequacy and continuous compliance with data protection regulations<\/strong> during the term of the contract, in accordance with current regulations.<\/p>\n

The above implies a series of support services that include the consulting<\/strong>, audits<\/strong>, implementation of corrective measures<\/strong> and continuing education<\/strong> for the city council staff. Thus, Soltel will play a fundamental role, providing the necessary technical and legal expertise to navigate the complexities of GDPR<\/a> and the Organic Law on Data Protection.<\/p>\n

Soltel's role in Regulatory Compliance<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The services will be provided to the various administrative units of the Seville City Council. For this contract, Soltel will perform a set of essential tasks <\/strong>such as those that are generally listed below:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Legal and Consulting Advice<\/strong>: will provide expert advice on data protection and ongoing consulting to ensure the correct interpretation and application of current regulations, including advice on new projects and contracts.<\/li>\n
  2. Compliance Audits and Risk Assessments<\/strong>: will conduct regular audits to assess compliance with data protection regulations and will carry out data protection impact reviews (DPIAs) to identify and mitigate risks.<\/li>\n
  3. Implementation and Management of Corrective Measures<\/strong>: will design and implement corrective measures based on audits and assessments, and manage security gaps to ensure ongoing compliance.<\/li>\n
  4. Training and Development<\/strong>It will offer training to City Hall employees to ensure they know and apply best practices in data protection.<\/li>\n
  5. Maintenance of the Record of Processing Activities and Documentation<\/strong>: it will maintain and update the Record of Processing Activities, review and update information clauses, and manage documentation related to contracts and data protection policies.<\/li>\n
  6. Control and Updating of Technological Infrastructures<\/strong>: will ensure that the City Council's technological infrastructures comply with security and data protection requirements, and will oversee the implementation of good practices in data handling.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
