On September 14th we participated in a colloquium entitled \u201cEthical Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Public Sector: Cases in the Judicial Field\u201d<\/strong>, organized by the Foundation for Legal Artificial Intelligence (FIAL) and inaugurated by Antonio Sanz<\/strong>, advisor to the Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue and Administrative Simplification.<\/p>\n

The event brought together top experts in Artificial Intelligence and Justice.<\/h2>\n

Organized by FIAL<\/a> and sponsored by Soltel Group<\/a><\/strong>The meeting, opened by Antonio Sanz, allowed for the sharing of extensive experience from various professionals in the sector throughout Four presentations on the judicial sector and the latest technological advances applied to it<\/strong>The speakers for the day, moderated by Fernando Llano, Dean of Law at the University of Seville, were, in order of presentation, the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Juan Antonio Carrillo<\/strong>, Professor of Administrative Law at the University of Seville<\/a> and Vice President of FIAL<\/a>, who presented his vision of these advances through his presentation \u201cEuropean Regulation of AI\u201d.<\/li>\n
  2. Alejandro Caraballo y Pablo Salas<\/strong>, Director of Business Solutions and Director of Software Factory, respectively, at Soltel, shared our experience in the presentation \u201cPractical cases of AI in the legal field\u201d.<\/li>\n
  3. Carlos Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez<\/strong>, member of FIAL and CEO of Aidea Legal<\/a>, who shared his knowledge on \u201cThe impact of AI on judicial processes from private to public.\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Jos\u00e9 Manuel Jover<\/strong>, lawyer of the General Counsel of the Junta de Extremadura, ending this colloquium with the proposed topic as \u201cPromotion of AI from the Public Administration. First regulatory experiences: the case of Extremadura\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Following these, the nearly thirty guests proceeded to the second part of the day, where the luncheon-colloquium allowed them to learn more about the new opportunities offered by artificial intelligence in the legal sector.<\/p>\n

    The Andalusian Government underlines its commitment to the proper use of Artificial Intelligence.<\/h2>\n

    On this day, the advisor to the President, Antonio Sanz has emphasized the Andalusian Government's commitment to creating an \"ethical and fair\" Artificial Intelligence (AI).<\/strong> that has a positive impact on Andalusian society.<\/p>\n

    Thus, Sanz would acknowledge the great possibilities that the proper use of these advances allows us in terms of productivity, as we saw during the colloquium in products such as ELEX<\/a>always bearing in mind the critical importance of dialogue and consensus among all actors involved in this process, including AI developers, users and society as a whole.<\/p>\n
