Based on this volume of information, the tool interprets the results to <strong>predict behaviors<\/strong> and to help managers define the most appropriate strategies to enable the maintenance and improvement of the overall health of wetlands, as well as to mitigate the effects of climate change on them.<\/p>\n<p>The Eco-SmartNet tool seeks to develop a data analysis system that enables the following functionalities: Environmental characterization of the study wetland, with an exhaustive description and assessment of the physical environment (particularly land use and hydrology), <strong>biotic environment and socioeconomic environment<\/strong>; identify and establish the model of the <strong>temporal evolution of the main physical and biotic variables of the wetland<\/strong> selected; analyze and understand the main historical interrelationships existing between them, such as \"land use versus hydrology\" or \"land use versus bio-indicators\"; <strong>study high environmental impact processes<\/strong> that involve \"no return\" scenarios in the wetland's balance; enable the forecasting and prevention of crises associated with such events; establish predictive models of the behavior of the wetland's physical and biotic environment; prepare the data, feed, train and validate the models in the field; help define the Best Strategies that enable the maintenance and improvement of the overall health of wetlands; and establish Best Practices in wetland management for the mitigation of the effects of climate change.<\/p>\n<p>All these algorithms will allow managers to obtain all the information possible to make real-time decisions that improve the health of wetlands.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_small\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_grid cols_3 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"w-hwrapper valign_top align_none\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"w-btn-wrapper align_center\"><a class=\"w-btn us-btn-style_6\" href=\"\/en\/portfolio\/medio-ambiente\/\"><span class=\"w-btn-label\">Go back<\/span><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":8096,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-10098","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.6 -
